The Adventures Begin

On 6/22/2024 I bought the Forest River 262DBH Wolf Den 33′ trailer pictured here. Nothing massive or fancy, but hopefully a good ‘get your feet wet’ starter.

It has been my intention when I retire to begin RVing and see the country. I’ve spent a lot of time many years ago doing the vacation trips, but those were mostly centered around the kids.

So, when I retire, it’s time to see the country, for me.

But, I have been worried about weather I like RVing, or the ‘Idea’ of RVing.

And Spending a small retirement fortune, and then finding out 2 months later, it’s not for me, is a quick way to kill retirement funding.

So, with something like 10 years to go before retirement, I figure now is a good time to start getting out there on 3 day weekends, and just try it.

Plans are to take it out for it’s shake down trip over the 4th of July break.
Gulf Shores is just a 30 minute drive from home as I start building the ‘needed items’ list. Stay tuned as there should be more to come.
